This guide is maintained in order to highlight and facilitate access to the many remote services that the SJC Libraries provide as we offer virtual reference and research services to students and faculty to support distance instruction. Links and details for many remote library services are contained in this guide, and additional resources may be added as deemed appropriate. We can address questions regarding electronic & digital resources, including but not limited to e-books, streaming video, and other resources and services.
To enable contactless returns whenever possible, books may be deposited in the book return bin located in front of the circulation desk at the Callahan Library and in the circulation desk drop at the McEntegart Library. However, special non-print items (e.g., DVDs, test kits, laptops, video equipment) should be returned to a staff member at the circulation desk in order to be checked in upon arrival.

Interlibrary loan serves to expand the range of publications available to the St. Joseph's community. Administrators, faculty, staff and students may request that publications not owned by St. Joseph's be borrowed from other libraries.
Reciprocal Borrowing Arrangements Suspended
Due to restricted access at most libraries, Callahan Library participation in the LILRC Research Loan Program and McEntegart Library participation in the Academic Libraries of Brooklyn (ALB) program have been suspended until further notice.
Course Reserves are available from off campus if in electronic format or a web link.
Print Reserve or Reference Materials
Print reserve materials are available for check out.
We are accepting requests to provide the scanned print reserve pages to students via email.

Note that if the material has already been scanned in at the instructors request, then it should be posted on Canvas.
