General Research (Callahan Library): Video

What is Video Streaming?

Clapperboard

Streaming media refers to content that is accessed online rather than content recorded on physical media such as DVDs. The library subscribes to several collections that are available to students and faculty at any time, either on campus or off, much like our e-book collections and our article databases. In addition, the libraries work with educational streaming media companies to acquire temporary licenses to films a la carte. Unlike our collections, we acquire these films for faculty use in their courses.

Access to all streaming media requires students and faculty to authenticate just as you would when accessing our databases.
